The object of the Act is to lay down with sufficient precision uniform conditions of services in establishment so that the employees and the employers know in a clear and unambiguous language their respective rights and obligations. Prior to the enactment of the Act the employer was free to fix service conditions of his employees according to his own will. The act has taken away the freedom of employer to unilaterally fix the service conditions of his employee.
Hence if certain specific service conditions like increasing the probation period, changing the age of superannuation, addition of certain acts of employees as misconducts etc. are required to be included by any establishment, it can be done so by getting the standing orders certified.
At OMS Labour, we have detailed discussions of special requirements as per existing practices and the need of Industry. We recommend and make requisite changes for safeguarding the interests of our clients. All the changes are incorporated in the draft for obtaining certified standing orders from the competent authority.
OMS Labour ensures that the certified standing orders provide our clients with a formidable status of law that is binding to all company employees.
